“Predator” | Flash Fiction – Six Words

Great Horned Owl
Great Horned Owl

Moonlit night.

Hooo! Hooo!

Still prey.

Another six worder for the Flash Fiction challenge. I must be on a six word roll.

So why am I depressed? That’s the million-dollar question, baby, the Tootsie Roll question; not even the owl knows the answer to that one. I don’t know either. All I know is the chronology.~Ned Vizzini, It’s Kind of a Funny Story

Thanks for the link. Love the story. Love the ‘shrooms. I will share this with my sons, who both cook professionally.

What a striking photo of the owl. Such a beautiful bird [at least this one is :)]. Back home (Zambia), some people regard owls as witches/wizards – what a pity.

Thanks for the comment. I can’t take credit for the picture. I borrowed it from Wikipedia, but I will take credit for the dramatic colors. I fooled around with it using an editor. I can’t imagine believing them to be either, but I kind of understand it. They do have an aura of mystique about them.

      Nice blog you have.
